He then died and reincarnated to a different, fantasy world as a low level, weak Slime, and also acquired newfound skills. He stumbled upon Veldora, a powerful 'Storm Dragon', who has been sealed for the past 300 years for reducing a town to ashes. Feeling sorry (and lonely) for him, Satoru befriends Veldora, ppromising to help him in destroying the seal. He then consumed the dragon and exchanged names, Veldora bestows upon him the name Rimuru and receives surname Tempest in return. The dissapearance of the 'Storm Dragon' Veldora creates a power vacuum, which eventually makes Rimuru the leader of all beings inhabiting the Great Forest of Jura, who accept him as a ruler and together, they establish the nation of Tempest. With Rimuru's strength, wisdom, and idealistic vision, the new nation quickly grows in strength and influence. Height: 175 cm (5'9") Saitama is the main protagonist of One Punch Man, and the most powerful hero alive. Having apparently trained himself to superhuman condition, Saitama faces an existential crisis as he is now too powerful to gain any thrill from his heroic deeds. He is registered with the Heroes Association as a B-Class Superhero and is tasked to defend Z-City against Mysterious Beings. For a superhero, Saitama is rather laid-back. Because even the mightiest foes pose no challenge to him, he doesn't take his hero work very seriously. In spite of this, he is constantly searching for an opponent that can challenge him, since his superhero work is beginning to bore him because it's too easy. The combination of his attitude, unstoppable strength, and distinctively simple and 'unimpressive' appearance often cause his battles to become anticlimactic. Saitama will usually allow his opponents to rant about their motives and power up into their strongest forms before suddenly and nonchalantly obliterating them with one punch.

Height: 169 cm (5'6") Ken Kaneki was originally a human and a normal college student until he encountered a female ghoul named Rize who was posing as a human at the time. Rize, using Kaneki's crush on her as leverage, managed to lure him into an alley and tried to eat him but ended up dying when construction beams fell on top of her. Kaneki, already in a half-dead state from Rize's attempts at killing him, ends up in a hospital and has some of Rize's organs transplanted into his body. This results in him absorbing some of Rize's powers and characteristics, such as a ghoul eye, powers of regeneration, and the inability to stomach human food. Terrified and lost, Kaneki's life takes a dramatic turn from then on as he tries to find a place for himself in the world, realizing he now belongs to neither the human nor ghoul world and refusing to eat humans to sustain himself. Meeting some of the ​other ghouls, as well as humans, makes him realize that things aren't just black and white and that there are more to ghouls and humans than originally thought.

He has a strong motivation to become stronger and is always looking at Saitama as an example of the ultimate hero. Constantly trying to be like him even if it results in reckless fights.

<Stub /> Z-City (Z市, Zeddo Shi) is a large city on Earth. It consists of a business district, a residential district, and an abandoned, trashed area commonly referred to as the Ghost Town. Saitama and Genos are inhabitants of the latter area, which is home to many Mysterious Beings but is free to live in. It is rumored to contain incredibly powerful Mysterious Beings. Z-City has had the greatest percentage increase of monster appearances in the past decade.

Height: 145-180 cm Born in Konohagakure, a ninja village hidden in the leaves, Naruto Uzumaki was destined for greatness. When born, a powerful Kurama attacked his village. In a valiant attempt to save the village from destruction, the Fourth Hokage and leader of the Hidden Leaf Village sealed the demon fox within Naruto's newborn body. This was his final act, for the battle with the fox cost him his life. Despite the Fourth Hokage's dying wish that Naruto is viewed as a hero for serving as the container for the demon (a Jinchuuriki), the adult villagers of Konoha harbored a fierce hatred for him, with many believing that Naruto and the demons were one and the same. Cast aside as an inhuman monster, Naruto was outcast and ostracised by the villagers for reasons he could not understand. The children his age could only ever follow their parents' example; and they too came to harbor a fierce hatred for Naruto. Naruto eventually came to accept that he would live and die alone, and his external response was to perform harmless pranks on the village. Coy, raffish, and full of life, Naruto soon came to display a somewhat unexpected determination to succeed and be accepted by others. Upon being assigned to "Team Seven" as a Genin-ranked ninja, his true potential soon became outwardly apparent. Vowing to become Hokage one day and using his will to never give in, Naruto saves the village from invading forces and earns his acceptance. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, whose real name was recently revealed to be Kurama, is the most powerful of the tailed beasts, also considered the "King of the Tailed Beasts". Its power is such that it is regarded as an age-old natural disaster, as a single swipe of one of its nine tails is enough to raise tsunamis and flatten mountains. One of its special abilities is that it has access to close to unlimited sources of chakra. The demon fox's attacks were seemingly random, the only apparent reason for its appearances being its attraction to places of human malice. It attacked Konohagakure twelve years before the start of the series. None of the ninja of the village were able to defeat it until the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, arrived to deal with it. Minato sacrificed his life to seal the fox into the body of his newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki, with the Dead Demon Consuming Seal. Rather than completely seal off the fox's great power, however, Minato only sealed away a portion of it, giving Naruto access to the rest for unknown reasons. Prior to performing the seal Minato gave a key to Jiraiya to either strengthen or weaken the seal should the need arise. The seal naturally becomes weaker as the years pass, and in the event that it is broken the demon fox will be released. However, the bond between Naruto and Kyuubi, and the bond between Jinchuuriki (host) and tailed beast in general, is of a such character that if the seal is broken, Naruto will die immediately thereafter. And if Naruto dies, and the seal is not broken, Kyuubi will die with him. Therefore Kyuubi uses some of its chakra to enhance Naruto's healing abilities and will sometimes "take over" (lend Naruto its chakra without him asking for it) in order to keep him alive. ~! Naruto and Kurama later become friendly, much like Killer Bee and his tailed beast, Gyuuki. This allows Naruto to finally take full control of all of Kurama's abilities, including being able to use Tailed Beast Mode. !~

The story takes place in the year 2138 when virtual reality gaming is booming. Yggdrasil, a popular online game is quietly shut down one day. However, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as "the most powerful wizard." The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) beginning to feel emotion.
